Hillsboro offers many different ministries for all age groups. Please visit a specific Hillsboro has a wide variety of ministries for people of all ages, life-stages, and interests. And new ministries are created as our people pursue their passions and exercise their own creativity for the Lord. Youth Ministry: Our youth group meets on Sunday evenings, has regular recreational events, conducts an annual mission trip, and provides a place where Christian teens can build friendships and find encouragement, support, and fellowship. There are two Sunday morning Bible study classes for youth which meet in the Youth Building/Church Office.

Senior Adult Fellowship: The Joy Club, our monthly senior adult lunch gathering, is held on the fourth Tuesday of every month from March to October. Our adults also take frequent trips to various places and events of interest.

Men's Prayer Breakfast: Our men's group meets on Wednesday mornings at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast, fellowship, Bible reading, sharing, and prayer. This group provides support and encouragement for men, and finishes by 7:30 a.m. so that group members can get to work on time. Place: Fellowship Hall (rear of church building)

Quilts and More for Missions: Beginners and experienced knitting and sewing enthusiasts gather monthly to learn new skills and to create pieces (blankets, scarves, hats, etc.) which are then given to people in need. This group has provided hundreds of items for underprivileged children, senior adults, and missionary organizations.

Children's Ministry: Our children have lots of opportunities for friends and fun in a setting that celebrates faith in Christ. Crafts, games, Bible stories . . . special trips to zoos, aquariums, museums, shows . . . Parents' Night Out gatherings. New friends are always welcome. And, of course, Hillsboro has the most amazing Vacation Bible School around! See below on information about the children's choir.

Choirs and Singing Groups: Hillsboro has a number of groups for the musically inclined. Our Adult Choir rehearses each Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and provides leadership for our Traditional Worship Service (Sundays @ 11:00 a.m.). The Praise Team rehearses each Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and sings Contemporary Christian praise music, leading in our Contemporary Worship Service (Sundays @ 9:00 a.m.). Our Youth Choir and Children's Choir meet on alternating Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. Rehearsals are listed in the monthly newsletter and online calendar (see sidebar).

Bible Study Groups: Hillsboro has Bible study groups for all ages on Sunday morning at 10:15. We also sponsor a Wednesday morning Bible study group that meets in the homes of group members. And Hillsboro offers seasonal short-term Bible studies that meet for 4-6 week, focusing on specific topics or Bible books.
