Hillsboro Baptist Church
Missions   home

Hillsboro is at work in the local area, across Virginia and the country, and around the world, meeting needs and sharing abundant life in Christ.

Camp Sonshine Africa
Hillsboro's Joe and Beth Sebastian had a vision for a ministry that would touch the lives of children in South Africa with the love of Christ, and so they began Camp Sonshine Africa. This mission and ministry addresses the problems of poverty, neglect, education, and more, while also sharing God's wonderful plan with children and their families. They began this work in Cape Town, South Africa, with a vision to expand it across the continent. For more information about their mission, visit their website CampSonshineAfrica.org.
A video of their latest camp (Jan. 2007) is at the bottom of the page.

And Hillsboro works cooperatively with other churches to touch and tranform our world, through organizations like...

The Central Virginia Baptist Association
Samaritan's Purse

...and other Baptist and non-Baptist groups who are seeking to share God's love.
